Zakale Expeditions Joins Hands with The Mater Heart Run Nairobi 2025
Zakale Expeditions proudly took part in this year’s Mater Heart Run – Nairobi Edition, standing in solidarity with children in need of life-saving cardiac care. As one of the official sponsors of the event, Zakale was honored to be part of a movement that continues to transform lives through access to heart treatment for children from disadvantaged backgrounds.
The annual Mater Heart Run, now in its 23rd year, is a major fundraising event by The Mater Hospital, supporting its long-standing cardiac program which has provided over 3,000 heart procedures since 1996. Zakale Expeditions not only contributed as a sponsor but also hosted an engaging exhibition tent where attendees could interact with our team, learn more about our travel services, and discover how travel and compassion can go hand in hand.
True to our spirit of community and wellness, Zakale staff laced up their running shoes and participated in the run alongside thousands of other Kenyans, celebrating health, hope, and heart. The energy was inspiring, and the unity on display was a reminder of the incredible change that happens when organizations and individuals come together for a noble cause.
